Maggie is a Vice President at The Herald Group where she partners with clients to build strategic communications campaigns. Maggie has a wide range of experience leading public affairs campaigns with an emphasis on digital advocacy, grassroots, message development, and stakeholder outreach. She has worked on public policies issues at the city, state, and federal level in sectors such as energy, finance, and healthcare.
Prior to joining The Herald Group, Maggie worked as a Senior Account Supervisor in Edelman’s digital public affairs practice. While there, she ran digital campaigns focused on stopping bans and taxes on grocery bags. Maggie also led a nationwide educational effort on the importance of minerals mining and the need for regulatory reform.
Maggie started her career at the Charles Koch Institute, where she became the manager of marketing and design. While at the Institute, she worked on the visual rebranding of the organization and launched several new websites while leading a team of four. At various points, she was also responsible for overseeing the organization’s graphic design capability, program recruitment, online advertisements, and messaging.
Maggie hails from Modesto, California, and received her bachelor’s degree in communications and political science from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois.
