The Herald Group Adds Four New Staff

WASHINGTON, D.C. – January 14, 2015 – The Herald Group, LLC, a national bipartisan public affairs and issues management firm, today announced four new hires: Kristine Esposo as Senior Director, Kasia Zabawa as Director, Sarah Chu as Senior Associate, and Amanda Bobbitt as an Associate. All four will provide strategic communications and advocacy counsel to the firm’s growing roster of corporate, industry coalition, association and non-profit clients.

“Since 2005, we’ve grown our firm into a full-service, national public affairs operation by adding exceptional and driven public affairs professionals who provide the high-caliber, effective strategic communications counsel our clients have come to know and expect,” said Matt Well, managing partner of The Herald Group. “The last six months has been a time of tremendous growth for The Herald Group and we’re thrilled to have Kristine, Kasia, Sarah, and Amanda bring a wealth of expertise and insight to our rapidly expanding team.”

Kristine comes to The Herald Group from Direct Impact, where she oversaw a nationwide grassroots communications program for Ford Motor Company. Kristine has also worked at DCI Group, where she managed stakeholder outreach and mobilization. Her work has spanned across a diverse set of industries, including technology, education, retail pharmacy and agriculture.

Kasia joins The Herald Group from the American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research (AEI). In her role at AEI, Kasia managed external relations, developing relationships and building issue-based coalitions with policy, government, and business organizations on behalf of the think tank. Prior to AEI, Kasia spent five years working on policy and strategic communications at the Manhattan Institute for Policy Research, a leading think tank based in New York City.

Before joining The Herald Group, Sarah spent three years in the Senate working on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee as a press assistant and more recently a health research assistant.

A recent college graduate with a degree in Political Science, Amanda came to The Herald Group after interning at Fleishman Hillard in their healthcare practice.
