Welcome to The Herald Group, Nicole!
2021 has already kicked off with an exciting start as Nicole Fondots joined our team as our newest Associate. Nicole has already integrated her experience navigating energy policies and international trade regulations into her work for clients at The Herald Group. Please join us in welcoming her to the team and if you haven’t met her yet, let us introduce her to you below.
Tell us a little about yourself.
I’ll always find a way to stay busy. Outside of the office, I’ll be supporting local restaurants, engaging in some sport, or finding new places to explore.
What excites you the most about working in public affairs?
In one word, the dynamicity. In public affairs, no two days are the same. I’m excited by the opportunity to advocate for a wide range of clients, to constantly learn more about varying industries.
What’s the best thing you’ve watched or read in the past 5 years?
American Carnage: On the Frontlines of the Republican Civil War. I really enjoyed the history and semi-objective perspective of the divisions and transformations of the Republican Party – especially relevant now as we look at how the party evolves in 2021 and years to come.
What do you like most about The Herald Group?
With public affairs firms being a dime a dozen in DC, THG stood out with its culture. I’m excited to join a team with strong collaboration across all levels and with genuine interest in investing in their employees.
What is your favorite thing about Washington, DC?
As corny as it sounds, I’d say the people. With many working in or on the periphery of politics, so many people are passionate about what they do.
