We’re hiring! Our office is a hybrid-work environment with three days in person each week and two days remote. Join an amazing team based in Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C.

  • Director

    5-9 years of communications experience

    The Herald Group is looking for a highly motivated, career-oriented individual with experience in issue advocacy, public affairs and strategic communications. Director-level candidates will be responsible for the strategic development and day-to-day execution of client team activities, as well as interfacing with and managing client contacts to fully execute on account programs.

  • Director, Field Programs

    4-8 years of public policy communications experience managing or directing multi-state field grasstop campaigns

    The Herald Group is looking for a highly motivated individual with experience running multi-state field grasstop campaigns within an agency. The Director, Field Programs should come with a strong knowledge of issue advocacy, public affairs and strategic communications, and possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as exceptional writing and verbal communication ability.

  • Account Manager

    2-5 years of communications experience.

    The Account Manager will support client account teams in delivering high-quality strategic communications services. The ideal candidate will assist with the coordination and execution of client projects, as well as administrative duties.

  • Associate

    1-3 years of communications experience

    The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, good writing and verbal communication ability as well as excellent knowledge of content and social media applications. The candidate should be a team player and able to handle multiple tasks at the same time. Experience and/or interest in healthcare is strongly preferred.

  • THG Fellow

    Recent undergraduate with experience in communications and/or public affairs, as well as an interest in politics and policy

    The fellow candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills, good writing and verbal communication ability as well as be able to display excellent experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. The candidate should be a team player, display an ability to multitask, and possess keen attention to detail.

  • General Interest

    Interest in working in public relations, public affairs, communication and/or media relations
